Just two examples of the effects you can gain by using the FOTO24 Filmlook Presets that you will find in both the Favourite Preset Pack #2 and Monster Preset Pack #8. Both portraits shot with the Fujinon 23mm f/1.4 lens.

Couldn’t resist – my new Fujifilm X-T1

/

March 10, 2014

/ Klaus Markussen

So it is has not been many days since I wrote my last post with my intital thoughts on the new X-T1. If you read that post you also now that I was a bit insecure about whether I would take the jump from the X-Pro1 to the X-T1 or just hold tight and wait for the X-Pro2. Well below you can see the result…..I simply could not resist, and after just a few days of light usage I am confident that I made the right decision.

Once I have spend some more time with the camera I will post some more information on the general use and pros and cons.

The new and much hyped Fujifilm X-T1 has landed in Denmark, and I went straight to the local camera pusher Goecker in Copenhagen to try it out.  I  just had 10 minutes of play time with the camera and thought I would give you my very first and spontaneous feedback.

Night walk in Copenhagen

/

February 25, 2014

/ Klaus Markussen

Went for a short night walk in the streets of Copenhagen and brought my X-Pro1 mounted with the Fujinon 18-55mm lens. Not many people around to shoot but still a nice walk on a cold evening.

Christiansborg Palace, on the isle of Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, is the seat of the Danish Parliament, the Danish Prime Minister’s Office and the Danish Supreme Court. Also, several parts of the palace are used by the monarchy, including the Royal Reception Rooms, the Palace Chapel and the Royal Stables. On the main picture below you can see Christiansborg Palace Riding Arena (show grounds), which together with the royal stables are all that remain of the first Christiansborg Palace dating back to 1738.

Menaggio, Lombardy, Italy

/

November 9, 2013

/ Klaus Markussen

My family and I spent the last week on vacation by the beautiful Lake Como in northern Italy. We lived in the the very scenic little town of Menaggio, which is  located on the western shore of Lake Como at the mouth of the river Senagra. If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries while at the same time enjoying the spectacular nature of Lake Como and The Alps, then Menaggio or some of the other beautiful and classic Italian villages like Bellagio or Varenna might just be the place for you.

Please go here to see the Portfolio with more photos from Menaggio.

All of the images shown has been shot with the Fujifilm X100s.
